    王建民說，「當然想要為國家比賽」，但是2017年球季還是未知數，也希望利用春訓的時間好好表現，讓教練團有好印象，「才有機會爭取回到大聯盟」。

    旅美棒球好手王建民於30日清晨6時抵返國門，並在入境大廳短暫受訪，談到2016年球季，他說「這幾年的訓練，就是等今年這一刻，雖然沒有常出賽，如果能出賽都有把握住」。王建民說，今年春訓的時候，教練希望看到球速，在比賽中球速到94英里、95英里，才有機會可以上大聯盟。

    王建民目前是自由球員，新東家還沒有著落，他說「都是經紀公司跟球團聯絡，現在還沒有消息」。記者詢問「對於2017年球季何期待？」王建民則回應「也沒有什麼期待，有球隊就打，沒有球隊可能就直接退休。」
